The PINOY
INK
At the Muziklaban site there are a lot of events you can attend to. One
it the Pinoy Ink. Pinoy actually means Filipino. This event is a Tattoo
Competition. This is the event that I attended to because the main event of
Muziklaban was too crowded, I cannot even go near the stage. So we stayed at
the Pinoy Ink and mingled with the best tattoo artists and people with good
skin arts.
This is how far I am from the main event

The Beer Guyz
These are the guys who sell Php20.00
cup of Red Horse Beer. They just roam around looking for people who needs beer.
So it's not a hassle looking for a beer in this event, they're everywhere.
The X-Treme Zone
Well this
zone is for extreme games. Like bikes and skateboards. I have nothing to say
about this because I wasn’t able to watch the game.
The Vocalist
I really don’t
know this guy. He was at the beer stand trying to buy a beer. The guys behind
me were talking about him. They said he is a vocalist of a certain band. Well, I’m
not really sure what band it is, actually he told me the name of his band but I
was just t drunk to remember it. I’m so sorry.
The Bouncer
The biggest bouncer we’ve seen on
this event. Well, not the tallest but the muscle is crazy.

The Other Side Of The Beautiful Story
The line to the “Restroom”. It takes
2 to 3 minutes before the line moves on. And if you can’t hold it, you’ll bow
it. And after waiting for several minutes this is what you’re going to get.
Back To The Beautiful Side Of The Story
This is the
crowd inside the Pinoy Ink Tent. There are bands playing and Tattoo Artist doing
their works on the sides. Too bad I was not able to capture Bands who played
that night. Or should I say I was busy drinking.
Skin Art
I just
feeling like capturing her back.

The improvised restroom. Well, due to the long wait of the line and the not so good scene inside the portable restroom, We’ve come up with a better solution. To let it out outside the scene.
FRANCO at The Main Event
At The Main Event
Well, if you messed up, you’re out
of the game. This drunk guy just want to have a fight. Bouncers are driving him
off the area. Beers should be put inside the stomach not in the head.
Well, sometimes it’s better to let the beer ot of your system but not
like this.
The beer guy
still waiting for someone to buy his beer.
The Beer Stall
The guy who helped me carry the beer that we bought.
More beer for me.
Just Being Observant
These are the checkerd guys. Just
being observant. There’s nothing wrong wearing long-sleeved checkerd.
It’s the
checkerd boys buying beers.
One of the
checkerd boys.
I’m out of beer, said one of the beer guys. And I think the other
one is counting the bills he have.
Gadezki, left behind by his pseudo girlfriend.
I don’t know what he’s thinking, but I’m sure it’s not good.
And it’s time to go home for them. Or should I say Home Run
Serve And Dream
These guys
are supposed to be watching us not watching their dreams. Yes, they are the
Policemen who supposed to be serving and protecting the citizen. Well, I guess
it’s just too good to be true.

The Rakista Dot Com
Rakista[dot]Com is a Social
Site in the Philippines where people who love Rock music in any genre and
Underground bands in any genre interact with each other.
Rakista[dot]Com was created by Harold Solomon A.K.A. RiDz with the help of a friend Malbin Hung on layout. I asked RiDz why he created the site
and he said "To
help the scene and unite pinoy rock music lovers". Which is
absolutely true. He said "It started way back 2006 as a hobby with a
simple forum site. Back then, I was working as a senior software engineer in
Accenture". Cool indeed. The site was created for the music lovers to
interact and also for the exsisting band to be expose and also for the people
who want to create a band make their dreams come true. Well, I guess all of
these are actually working. A lot of musician finally got their break and
people dying to have a band finally get what they deserve. Some also find ways
to advertise their Production/Gig on the site by posting their event in the
Event Section. There are forums for gigs and some other social stuff. You also
get a chance to meet new friends and even meet them in person at a certain gig
such as "The Rakista Jam".
Rakista Jam is being held monthly and on each Jam it has different
line up of bands. The difference between Rakista Jam from any other concerts is
you get a chance to drink and get drunk with the band members and business
opprtunities to some, especially if an individual is planning to produce a
certain gig or promote a certain product such as beer, band gadgets, or even
your personal business.

The
Rakista Jam 33
The Black Kings' Bar
The latest Rakista Jam that I attended
to was the Rakista Jam 33. It's the 33rd Rakista Jam that was held since
Rakista[dot]Com was made. It was held at Black Kings' Bar located at West Life
Bldg. West Avenue, Quezon City. The ticket was very affordable. Just Php150.00
per head with free 500ml bottle of Red Horse Beer which is my favorite beer
since I was still in high school. You can also purchase an album for Php200.00
and you can get in for free. Well,I chose the Free beer of course.
EVEN
There are a lot of bands who performed that night. But I was not able to
take a pictures of some of the bands because I was sometimes busy chatting and
drinking my ice cold Red Horse Beer. One of the band who perform was EVEN. Even was the Muziklaban 2008 Champion.
You can check there facebook account for more info:
TRIBO SUBCULTURE
Another band who
performed that night was TRIBO SUBCULTURE. And yes, you're not blinded nor this picture is not edited, it is for
real that the vox Cris is using crutches. This band really amaze me. The
performance was outstanding. Their genre is a Metal - Tribalcore. As I check on
their Facebook account:
"The band is consists of 8 man members and was formed mid 2002.
Their music is called fusion combining two elements of music. They use metal
music and combine with tribal music that form tribal core. Music that is heavy
but yet has a touch of ethnic realm. This band uses indigenous instruments like
djembe, tribal flute, chimes, and other indigenous instrument found mostly is
South East Asia."
MR. BONES AND THE BONEYARD CIRCUS
Guys, meet Mr. Bones. The Band, Mr. Bones and the Boneyard Circus. And
no wonder girls go crazy and wanting to watch this band. With a good looking
vox like him? I'm not gonna argue with that, I definitely understand. I know
how it feels like to be like him. Just kiddin'. This is my first time I watched
this band performed. Actually I've heared about them before. A friend of mine
sometimes call me "Mr. Bones", she said sometimes I look like Mr.
Bones himself. Well, don't have any comments with that, and I'm not going to argue with that
as well. I love their music. Their genre is Horror Rock / Theatrical Macabre, Which is for me it is pretty much the same as Gothic Industrial which
is one of my personal favorite genre. I'm into Gothic Culture by the way. But
anyway, that's all I can say about this amazing band. Two thumbs up.
